By accessing or using truechem.io (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Research Use Only

All products sold on this Site are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human consumption, therapeutic use, veterinary use, or any non-research applications.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 21 years old to access, use, or purchase from this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years of age. The Site is not intended for or directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 21 to create an account or place an order. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user does not meet the age requirement, we may suspend or terminate their account and delete their information. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle information.

3. Account Registration

To make a purchase, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Orders and Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.

6. Reshipments — No Refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. Because of the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns.

If there is a problem with your package — for example, it arrives damaged, broken, or with items missing or incorrect — we will arrange a replacement shipment at no cost to you. To request a reshipment, contact support@truechem.io within 7 days of delivery and include your order number and clear photos of the issue. Reshipments are provided at our discretion and are our sole remedy for delivery issues. We do not provide refunds in place of a reshipment.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of truechem and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8. No Warranties

All products and the Site are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, truechem disclaims all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Products are sold for laboratory research use only and are not warranted as safe or suitable for any other use.

9. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that our products are intended strictly for laboratory research and are handled at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the safe, lawful, and appropriate handling, storage, and use of any product you purchase, and for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree that you will not use any product for human consumption, therapeutic, veterinary, or other non-research purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, truechem and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site or products, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory. In no event shall our total liability for any claim exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless truechem and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use or misuse of any product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in California, on an individual basis. You and truechem waive any right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in any class or representative action. This provision does not prevent either party from seeking relief in small claims court for qualifying disputes.
